Shiraz Pediatric Liver Cirrhosis Cohort Study
SPLCCS
Pediatric liver transplantation center in Shiraz is the largest center in the world in terms of the number of transplants performed. Children with end stage liver diseases are referred to this center from all over the country. High number of patients with regular follow-up make them a good target for longitudinal studies. To achieve this goal, a cohort study of children with liver cirrhosis was established in 2018 by the Shiraz Transplant Research Center, Shiraz Organ Transplant Center, and pediatric department. Several meetings were held for considering various aspects of the cohort study under the supervision of Dr. Geramizadeh (Principal Investigator) and special efforts of Dr. Motazedian.
