History: 

Shiraz Transplant Research Center affiliated to Shiraz University of Medical Sciences was established by the Professors Dr. Malek Hosseini, Dr. Tabei, Dr. Geramizadeh, Dr. Zakerinia in Namazi Hospital in 2001. Shiraz Transplant Research Center was transferred to Mohammad Rasoolullah Research Tower which is located on Khalili St in 2014. This center is known as one of the active centers in basic science researches in the field of liver, pancreas, kidney and bone marrow transplantation in Iran, and from the beginning of its activity, it has had direct communication and cooperation with Shiraz Organ Transplant Center. In order to expand the joint basic and clinical researches, hepatopancreas cell isolation laboratory and clinical virology laboratory (CMV, HAV, BKV, EBV, HSV) has been launched in Abu Ali Sina Transplant Hospital in 2017.
